I have on a crop top with my superwoman diamond energies all over it. The diamond energies cut through harsh energies as diamonds can cut class. And needless to say I had a pretty great day wearing it.
Have you heard of arm candy? It's a cool new way to talk about your jewelry, bracelets specifically. Rock Candy is Arm Candy bracelets made of rocks, minerals and crystals. Here I am wearing an amber bracket I made. Amber is actually fossilized tree sap. Which is why sometimes you see insets preserved in amber.

Conscious Life Expo - FashionConscious Life Expo is coming up again at the LAX Hilton February 19th-22nd 2016. I'm excited to see old friends, meet new ones and check out what people are wearing.
Spiritual creative expression is abundant at the expo especially through fashion. You can see for yourself below in fashion photos from last years expo. At the Lucidity Festival 2014, the fashion trend I saw and liked the most were boys and their stripes. Black, white and gray stripes are a trend right now in main steam fashion and that is represented here very well with the males of the festival scene. Musician Shawn Barry poses in his black and gray stripped hoodie and galactic silver space jeans. See more of Shawn's music at the link below.
https://www.facebook.com/shawnbarrymusic Adopt A Dolphin At the dolphin statue I pose in my teal and black dress. The teal color reminds me of a tropical ocean and dolphins. As the smartest mammal in the ocean, we need to protect the dolphins. In a addition to opposing the dolphin killings in Japan, (see previous blog) there are other ways to support dolphins. There are many adapt a dolphin programs where you can donate to support a dolphin and receive a photo and name of your dolphin. The Ocean Conservation has a great Adopt A Dolphin program. Ranging from $40-$100 to adopt. Wear your teal/ turquoise colors and support a dolphin! Click Here to Adopt A Dolphin Photos by Ali Roustai STOP KILLING WHALE. Save Whales and DolphinsThe shirt reads STOP KILLING WHALE. I found it on CNDirect.com, the super cheep yet will get you with the shipping, direct from China fashion and accessory website. I hope you know by now, but just in case you don't.
"The slaughter of 20,000 dolphins, porpoises, and small whales occurs in Japan each year. " - Sea Shepard. This is a message that you may have came across from the Movie "The Cove". The awareness generated from that film has helped a lot, yet these slaughters still happen. There is more activism to be done. The awesome thing is that I purchased this shirt from a website that ships direct from China. The models all have the Asian look and the sizes run super small. When I order from this website, my normal America Medium sizes jumps up to a recommended L, when really it's an XL. With all the online shopping warnings aside, I appreciate that there is such an awesome strong message coming through the guilty pleasure, cheep online shopping site. Though it is targeted to other countries the style is coming from China and Japanese influences. It feels good to know that they are wearing this message out over where it counts. In the country where the cetaceans slaughters occur. The ironic this is where I decided to pose for this picture. Here I am promoting the end of whale killing yet filling up on them. As the fossils that go into fossil fuels are made up of many things decayed from the earth many many years ago. So in a since we kill mother earth for our fuel. That's a whole other fashion blog subject. We all have a balance to work on. But at least I drive a hybrid! Right? Its a cultural habit that is till working it self out; fossil fuels. As is the killing of whales and dolphins in Japan. It's said that when young men do this, it's a right of passage in becoming a man. That should be an easy fix right? Well here's how you can help. Listed below are that organizations that work with the campaigns to stop the killings of whale. Sea Shepherd http://www.seashepherd.org/cove-guardians/what-you-can-do.html GreenPeace http://www.greenpeace.org/international/en/campaigns/oceans/fit-for-the-future/whaling/ International Whale Protection Organization http://www.internationalwhaleprotection.org/campaigns/ Whale Man http://whaleman.org/ Keep checking back here for more message driven fashion and links to the non-profit organizations that help with the campaigns of the conscious messages. In stead of spring cleaning, it's winter releasing around here. I'm moving therefore starting a process of releasing items that no longer serve me, or that I haven't used which are taking up space. Little did I know that I needed to t do this with technology as well. Today I learned my phone is running slow because I am at storage capacity. I am even at capacity with my physical items in my current space, and I'm moving into a smaller one! What?! Super time to down size and re evaluate what I want and what I what to be spending my time with. Projects are building up through physical items and digital files. I've noticed that the most successful people are clean and organized. In their home and office. To be most efficient one needs to be efficient with their space. Piles are blocks in moving you forward. As are maxed out credit cards, drawers that don't close, over flowing bins, thousands of new unread messages in your email account and anything you are saving that you won't realistically use. For new years this year I'm not setting any goals because I'm not set up to achieve them. There is more clearing to be done in order to be efficient to take on anything new. So for New Years I will be filtering out the old and setting up for the new. This is what I've been wearing during my Winter Release.
Attending the first ever west coast Unitribe event I knew I wanted to participate by offering some of my media but I wasn't sure in what capacity. When all of a sudden it hit me, after seeing so many stylish people I had to create a fashion blog on the clothes of the Conscious Scene.
Equipped with only my iphone and ambient lighting I set out to capture the conscious clothes of the attendees. The 3 trends of Unitribe Fashion were, long spiritual necklaces, fringe, and space pants. Brianna Kai Lotus wore here hair in fun hippie style braids with a headband around her four head. A purple shirt with Sanskrit writing surrounding a feather, topped off with a crystal necklace.
Chef Brooke is in an outfit based all around a shinny gold fabric belt. She paired it with tight leopard pants, a black tank, hat and a necklace she made. The necklace houses a stone in a spiral wire wrap.
This girl is all sass with class. She is always dressed in her fun funky style. It helps having been a fashion stylist in a past career. Now Chef Brooke pairs her taste and flavor into culinary creations and coaching.
Patty Yunivers was wearing my favorite outfit of the night. I liked it so much I wanted to get it myself and found out where. Top found at Tienda Ho, a sustainable fashion cotton/ rayon mix with natural dyes.
Leggings can be found at Roozt.com, a cause company that gives back to multiple charities. You may recognize Patty from the viral video "Sh*t New Age Girls Say" since then she has started her own media production company. She is always spot on in spiritual trends from clothes to knows.
Emerald Figueroa is in a statuesque Goddess pose. White fringe drapes down across her torso from a gold choker. Emerald is a true fairy goddess. She knows health and healing techniques. All of which are reflected in the white light of her clothes.
Emerald creates oil blends of health and sweet smells of beauty. She sells her oils in bottles and as wearable necklaces so you are never with out your Sacred Oils. She also travels teaching Sacred Contraception workshops.
Lili's space skirt is very galactic. Lili makes cute stringy fabric earrings to sell which she had on display at this event. It's a bohemian craft chic.
Lili is at every event at Spacemoney, the host space for this Unitribe event. She was an integral part of it's opening. With her background in fashion styling she sure knows how to make a mark on the Conscious Fashion scene.

I really do like to turn everything conscious. From ideas of re-inventing the bar, to an Eco Beauty vlog channel. Sometimes, even reinventing celebrities images. For Halloween a while back when I lived in San Francisco, I decided to go as Paris Hilton. But the version of Paris that was looking for a new best friend. As was the same title for her reality show at the time. I called myself "The Conscious Paris Hilton." It was an interactive costume as I had a sign up list for potential new best friends. Some of the requirements included, "Must Love Gogi Berries", "Must Meditate" and etc. I got quite a lot of people to put their name and email down. A few days later after Halloween, I sent them all a thank you email hoping they had a great Halloween. And now here's the same. I hope you have a great Halloween and kept it conscious! Body Art at the Bacara I was invited to an event at the Bacara, a famous luxury Hotel and Spa n Goleta, CA. It's a hotel that many "stars" stay at and hold their weddings there. Most recently the Bachelor was married there over looking the infinity pools and ocean. At night however there is a classy mix of swanky events (from time to time). This one was super artful. Models in spray paint body art and entertainers on stilts. A fun sight to sea :) Body Art by Adam Tenenbaum of OVERLAY |
